Luxembourg

Luxembourg is warm, happy, beautiful, coloured and chilled. I really, really loved it. People are smiling, are helping and they seem to be very happy.
Luxembourg is a state of mind, it's a statement. A statement that hard work, good manners and smiles can work.
Luxembourg is peace. Street singers. Art. Cosy restaurants.
Luxembourg is coloured umbrellas and an awesome happy friend. Luxembourg is a smile!
They don't know how to fix a  strawberry Mojito but they sure have some fine chocolate (hot chocolate + brownie @ "Chocolate house" just in front of the Palace = heaven).

It was a perfect mini holidays, laughing 'till the end :)
I mean you loose some and you get some in exchange. The boy I liked ... it just didn't happen but on my way back to Strasbourg I met a lovely 58 years old jewish lady with Parkinson disease. The essential is not this, the essential is that this woman has a gift and despite her disease she has been blessed by life with 2 wonderful kids and lots of travels. One researcher and one midwife. The researcher is living in Japan, he's married with a Japanese lady and they have a 5 years old son. The great great mother of the Lady is alive and kicking it. I'm going to Japan next year with a friend. The husband of the midwife is a cardiologist with whom I work a lot but whom I've never met in flash and bones. The midwife is pregnant and I am invited to the circumcision ceremony of her son. Shalom I say and mazeltov!

She said that there are no hazardous encounters in life and I believe she's write so Mazeltov!

On the other side they don't really have hippies/alternative people or maybe they were very well hidden...they were kind of stiff.

This is Luxembourgs song and Luxembourgs photos :

I really, really liked their idea with the colored umbrellas. Apparently there is the same in Portugal so I'll go see by myself with my friends. So, next trip : Portugal! Oleeeeeeeee!

Contract

This is the part when I say thank you. Thank you to all my friends who are always there for me. You lift me up when I am down (you know it's rare but when I'm down I'm really like 10 feet under). You make me sing, dance, smile, dream. You are  always there. Even if we are scatered all over the world.

Yesterday we celebrated me getting my dream job. And they were warm, happy, optimistic and just...perfect people! I wouldn't change a think about them! So we went and danced the night away. They made me forget some pains and made me a super nova! Hei, I even drunk beer! At 6 AM I was coming back home with M. and the birds were singing. The quiet was soooo perfect. And we stopped, hugged and said : "This moment is perfect!". So I am writing it down in order not to forget it. We know each other for like 6 months but we are...we know each other! He's my brother from another mother.

" If it's one thing that I've learned over the years is that it only takes one person, one patient, one moment to change your life forever. To change your perspective, color your thinking, to force you to reevaluate everything you think you know. To make you to ask yourself the toughest questions : do you know who you are? do you understand what had happened to you? do you want to live this way?"

Yes, I want to live the life that I am living. I am happy with my choices. It was a long way 'till here.

I don't know how long I will stay but I know that I will do my best every day to improove.

Give and never give up!

Unafraid givers this is what I love the most!

My first bottle of champgane opened by moi (it was a long process, but nobody was hurt! :)

happy

I just love this song. It's difficult not to share a smile when you're listening to it. If I am at home I instantly start dancing. It comes naturally. Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth.

Face asteptarea mai dulce. Pentru ca uneori asteptarea este...lunga. So I just go in my world of fantasies...
Om care traieste numai si numai in prezent.

I thought that you were nice but  you were otherwise...

Suntem OK after all this years we both healed. And we both grow up in the persons that we've wanted to be, and strangely we did not grow apart. I wish you luck, sun, smiles and love sailor!

Deci e Primavara :)

Meanwhile in Berlin :

berlin

I love Berlin because it reminds me of how easy and pleasant life's actually and about how we are complicating it!
Before going to Berlin I was not in a very happy place : work, friends...people...I was feeling kind of confused and lost in translation. I was in such a hurry all the time, I didn't have patience anymore, I wanted answers and I was getting kind of radical which is sort of not me. And the worst part is that I've almost stop dreaming my life away.
So I kind of spontaneously decided to go there. Berlin wasn't even on my wishlist of cities that I wanted to visit. But I had a friend there and I was kind of curious so...there I went.

First of all Berlin is relaxed : smiling people everywhere with a beer in their hand, chatting outside in the sun, with their dogs (with no leash!) just sharing some smiles, exchange some ideas.
Second : every person that I've been in contact with spoke perfect english!

Fear cand hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.

So I kind of new that even if I get lost (which was often the case :) I will akways find someone to help me.
Big monuments, large avenues, good food and drinks and partyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! It's amazing how on the same street you can have a russian, a thai, an italian and a pakistani restaurant. You get to see a metal bar next to a latino club and it's all cool.

Also everybody is smoking in bars and clubs. Which bothered me at the begining but reminded me of Cluj. So it was cool. I danced and laughed and shared coffee and food with people met randomly on the street. People tried to sell me weed  and I even got mistaken for a prostitute (because I was wearing high heels) which is kind of funny (years for now I will laugh with L. : hey do you remember that time when I came to visit you in Berlin and I was mistaken for a prostitute? Yes, it was funny!). People where simple, dressed in black and not dressed to impress, happy, with lots of tattoes, mohawks, funky, funny, colored, of all types, spanish, italians, turkish...

Someone told me that in Berlin are more architects than cab drivers.

No one screams, no one runs, no one is rude. At least the people that I've met.
They say that you see what you want to see. That what you see is a reflection of you. I've chosen to see the beautiful in Berlin, the alternative, the good coffee and the smiling people. Peace. Because the rest is not important.

I got scare tissue in Berlin. I got better. It will always be my happiness reminder with his squats, his music, the people. It's true that a friend in need is a friend indeed but a funny sarcastic friend with a big heart, beer and a lovely top flor apartment is better.

I mean it's simple : viata e frumoasa si nimic nu merita regrete. So just do what you feel like doing and don't regret it. Regrets just complicate life and don't solve anything. Don't look back in anger. Live in the moment because you never know if you'll still be there for the next moment. And dream, dream big so you can achieve big things.

Don't waste your time on people who don't deserve you. People that bring out the best of you are the only valid option.

I am always saying that there is nothing that the road can't heal. I truly believe this. One voyage as often as possible keeps the doctor away...and the sun in your life. We are what we give to other people. I've chosen to give love. So if you give me nothing, nothing is what you get.

W A L K I N G    A R O U N D in Berlin parks, museums, bars  I found my lost equilibre. And it felt good, natural, it felt like home. Oh, and they also have huge Flea Markets! When Didi left for the rainbow community I didn't get it. It took me a while. But she was happy so it was ok. Now we're all just fine : in africa, europe or australia united we stand! We are bulletproof now :)

Vis

Cand ne-am mutat in apartamentul asta cele doua colcatare era moarte dupa o lingurita eleganta, cu o coada lunga si o inima rosie in capat. Singurul meu gand a fost : "Off with their heads!!!"

Nu incetez sa imi amintesc acest citat, sa mi-l recit, sa mi-l intiparesc in inima si in minte :

It was a true wolf pack I swear! Bien évidemmment niet cougars but it was a hell of a week-end. And after that we went to the Place Gayot si am baut un Monaco si am vazut asta (din ciclul "music heals everything") :

E frumos sa iesi din cutia ta. Sa gasesti un slogan pentru campania unui viitor politician gen : "Cougars for change!" while eating fonDO :)) (sunt convinsa ca l-ar vota toata lumea in afara de copii si femei :) As fi un execelent leader de campanie electorala. And whoever says otherwise is just jealous! It was such a sunny day and I am happy that I shared it with such good mates!

" They agree that the sea
is the best place to be!
   wondrously free
   they live happily ...

  ... music is the healer
      no matter who you are..."

I have some new shoes now and suddenly ...

... everything's fine!

(c)attitude

And a little bit more..."cats rule and dogs drool" asa zicea cartea, nu?

Someone said once that when God made dogs he just sit down and smiled! :) One of my dreams is to have a golden retriever or a labrador! And a house with huge windows and trees in the garden. And to be able to become one of the bests in what I do!

Today it was sunny! Freaking cold but sunny. I woke up at 6.30 and in 30 minutes I was out the door, running *walking really fast* to the train station. Lucky for me that I had enough time, because I almost mixed up the trains. But it was ok in the end. the crispy winter air made me smile. in my ears john was singing "imagine". "imagine ther're no countries, it isn't hard to do!". n=Next station : Brasov, please!

Ozzy and his "dreamer" followed. "gazing trough a window to the world outside, wondering it Mother Earth will survive, hoping that men kind will stop abusing her, sometime!"
Fighting for my sanity, many nights of tragedy!

I was in my happy place : in a cosy train with a good book. Awesomeness. Am ajuns. Hochfelden! Welcome in the middle of nowhere. OK, let's do some medicine! Dumnezeule!!! O oraseanca!! The horror!

Haha, hilarious!

Va las cu un time laps ilustrativ despre Strasbourg, in perioada Craciunului si, DA, este atat de frumos!!

Azi am primit o veste minunata, minunata! O minune s-a intamplat! De-abia astept rezultatul!

Concertul Morcheeba

Strasbourg 13 Noiembrie 2013.
Am ajuns cam cu 10 minute inainte sa inceapa concertul si am fost surpinsa de marea de oameni de toate varstele, most of them geeks :)

In fata mea stateau doua tipe care...semanau cu noi (L always on my mind...) Alergam : "camaradul meu de sange, doar de tine imi e dor, va spun tot ce am in matze and I don't care about you at all...'cause I love chaos!"

She looks like an angel, she sings like an angel, she's Skye Edwards from Morcheeba!
" I thought that you were wise but you were otherwise!"

Am si cateva melodii filmate dar nu reusesc sa le uploadez :( it was awesome!
Asa ca va las cu un mini clip de la Paris, tot de anul asta!Lovely song, lovely lady, amazing group!

the dog days are over!

azi la ora 15h00 am dat, inca o data, TCS-ul, singurul examen picat in timpul rezidentiatului.

the dog days are over!
vietile pacientilor mei sunt doar in mainile mele.
I waited and prepared for this for so long that it seems unreal.

simplify, simplify and amplify your life!

In ziua in care am aflat ca am picat examenul de TCS am primit acest minunat cadou aniversar de la Anda (fosta mea colega de facultate de la Cluj, sora de suferinta in ale Medicinei, medic rezident de obstetrica-ginecologie in Germania, for the moment :)) and I felt blessed!

I am alive again! Si fix intr-o sapatamana, concertul Morcheeba! Pampampammmm.
